Winter is never a popular season for outdoor portrait session due to the weather. We are blessed in San Francisco with relatively warm weather, so even with rain and wind, a winter portrait session is not impossible, on the contrary, it could be so much fun with far less tourists and other photographers.

One of my favorite places for clean and contemporary portrait shots is Legion of Honor. Here Chanda and I were having so much fun to have the entire entrance area to ourselves.

Not to mention there is a nice green area just behind the museum for a quick change of the scene.
